2007 Motorola eMB Independent Software Vendor of the Year
Motorola, Inc. selected StepOne Systems as its 2007 North American / Latin American Independent Software Vendor (ISV) of the Year for Enterprise Mobility Partners. StepOne was chosen based on outstanding performance in providing the snapRETAIL mobile retail store performance applications to tier-one enterprises, dramatically improving staff productivity and increasing stock awareness throughout the supply chain.
2007 SymbolPLUS Validated
StepOne Systems' STEP-CE terminal emulator successfully achieved SymbolPLUS validation through completing Motorola’s Solution Validation Program that includes joint testing at the Motorola Solution Center located in Holtsville, New York. STEP-CE provides immediate use of new Windows CE mobile computing devices that originally ran the DOS-based STEP emulator.
StepOne's STEP-CE, was granted the SymbolPLUS Validated™ Software logo through Motorola’s Solutions Validation Program. This designation will help assure customers and partners of system interoperability between Motorola devices and StepOne's applications and solutions.
2006 StepOne's SNAP Mobile Server Achieves IBM SIF Certification
StepOne Systems' SNAP (Scalable Network Application Platform) Mobile Server was certified on the IBM Store Integration Framework solution—IBM’s flexible, scalable Java™ 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE), operating environment and componentized architecture, built for retail stores using industry-leading IBM middleware. This paves the way for a new generation of mobility centric retail applications, snapRETAIL.
The Ready for IBM Retail Store Innovations – Store Integration Framework initiative brings together platform-independent software vendors that deliver proven solutions designed and built for the retail industry. Through this initiative, IBM works with select IBM Business Partners to validate solutions that meet a rigorous assessment of next-generation, open-standards-based store environments.
2006 StepOne Joins the Motorola eMB Retail Partner Advisory Council
StepOne Systems is an active and regular member of Motorola Retail Partner Advisory Council (RPAC) where partners work directly with the Motorola team for product and solution direction in the retail mobility space.
