Todd Berner - President & Chief Executive

Todd Berner

Leading the organization as president and general manager of StepOne Systems, Mr. Berner brings fourteen years of experience in successfully delivering complex software and systems to the commercial market.

Prior to joining StepOne Systems, Mr. Berner was Managing Director of Dimension Data’s Enterprise Mobility Delivery and served for eight years in a variety of integration leadership roles at Symbol Technologies including head of the Integration Services Group and Senior Director of Global Professional Services.

During his tenure in these assignments, Mr. Berner was personally involved in leading the development of world-class software and integration operations that define, design, deploy and manage cutting-edge mobile innovations within the retail, field force automation and manufacturing sectors. Having first-hand insight into mobility best practices that transform the business enterprise, Mr. Berner leads StepOne Systems in mobility strategy, product development and overall execution.

John Huffman - Chief Technical Officer

Todd Berner

Leading the product development and system integration efforts at StepOne Systems, Mr. Huffman brings sixteen years of experience in software design, architecture, development and deployment to StepOne Systems.

Prior to joining StepOne Systems, Mr. Huffman was Director of Technology at Dimension Data’s Enterprise Mobility Practice. He also spent ten years at Symbol Technologies Integration Services Group including two as Director of Engineering, and two years at Computer Associates as the Manager of DistribuLink Software Development.

Mr. Huffman is noted for developing technology and products that enable enterprise mobility. Products that Mr. Huffman has actively worked on at Symbol include the Wireless Network Management Systems (WNMS), Retail Information Management System (RIMS), SVTP Terminal Emulator, and Mobile WaveWorks middleware. He was also the founder of Symbol’s System Integration Center. At Computer Associates he led the development efforts for the DistribuLink family of products for Enterprise Software Distribution.
