Account Executive

Skills and General Description

The Account Executive is responsible for identifying, developing and closing business opportunities, developing long-term customer relationships, leading proposal development efforts, and other related sales activities in Mobile Software and Software Services work.

The successful candidate will be a driver. The candidate will run with initiatives and be comfortable controlling meetings upon entering a room. Candidate will have a thorough understanding of solution-based consultative sales and will be able to build close, trusting relationships in all professional and social settings.

The successful Account Executive will possess:

  • Minimum of 2+ years experience in package software, software services, or software consulting for IT in designated markets
  • Recent new business development experience in opening new major accounts
  • C, VP & D-level established relationships within the mobile, wireless and enterprise software
  • 2+ years experience carrying a quota in a technology sector
  • Excellent time management, written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Superior computer and technology user and advocate

 

Day to day activities

    • Develop sales strategies and execute account plans in support of goals/objectives.
    • Work with the software team in creating and executing proposal development strategies for current and new customers
    • Develop and present proposals that clearly convey clients’ needs, project approach, relevant experience, and client benefits.
    • Negotiate and close on strategic business initiatives.

     

Education Requirements

4 year / Bachelor Degree
