snapDC

StepOne Systems's snapDC represents a suite of software solutions for the Distribution Center and Stock Room. This application suite is focused on a unique and forgotten market segment.

Many Distribution Centers (and larger Stock Rooms) can benefit from core mobile solutions that extend their fundamental warehouse management solution. However, they are not large enough to justify full-blown WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) solutions so they go without these benefits. Not any more!

snapDC provides an easy to scale, easy to integrate solution that provide THE critical applications for a busy Distribution Center or Stock Room.

snapDC Suite:

  • Receiving - Be sure what you physically receive is what your system thinks it received! The ripple effect of inaccurate receiving is expensive and disruptive to the entire supply chain in the distribution center. In addition, you do not want to pay for items that you have not actually received from your supplier. Accuracy and efficiency are critical to your success.
    • ASN (Advanced Shipping Notice) - Validation of the physical shipment with the notice provided
    • Purchase Order - Validation of the physical shipment
    • "Pallet" Level - This is the ability to receive a set of items either as a bin or a pallet
    • Item Level - The ability to break-down a set of items from delivery and individually receive and count those items in your system
  • Picking - Customer orders are establed in the system and the cost of a mistaken order is HUGE both in observable operational costs (re-order, re-stocking, returns, inventory error, etc.) and customer dissatisfaction. Confirm the order is correct the first time with integrated picking.
  • Shipping - The shipping module is particularly useful when a shipment involves multiple orders and later reconciliation is needed for back-end logistics analysis and optimization.
  • Inventory / Cycle Counts - Improvements in the quality of information from receiving and shipping will reduce the need, and the deviation, for inventory cycle counts; however, the ability to perform quick counts for reconciliation is vital to a fast moving distribution center
