Shopping Experience

Shopping Experience Applications are designed to enhance your customer's in store shopping experience. By providing mobile applications in either your customer’s hand or in the store associate’s hand, these applications increase basket size, ‘up sell’ merchandise, and increase customer loyalty. Examples of these applications from the snapRetail SEA applications suite include Escorted Registry, Queue Busting, Item Locator, and others.

Store Performance

Store Performance Applications target the operations of the store. Highly integrated applications improve labor productivity, stock room management and customer readiness. What makes this really unique is the tight integration of all the applications and the ability to “hop” from function to function.

Intelligent Alerts

Prioritizing resources is key to operational success and the ability to quickly change those priorities is paramount. Intelligent Alerts brings the best of computing at the point of activity with instant messaging. Users are “signed up” for ad hoc alerts to support customers, check stock, pick-up merchandise, whatever. An alert message is sent and the associate “grabs” the alert. The process is tracked as a work order with status tracking and timers.

The task/alert has the ability to jump directly into the functional application in snapRETAIL that relates to the alert and then enables the user to go right back to what they were doing prior to the alert. Real-time customer service at the touch of a button!

snapRETAIL - Shopping Experience Applications

  • Escorted Registry
    The next generation in “wish” list registry. Graphical and intuitive, it invites you to create and maintain your wishes in the store. Recommendations, ratings, and technical descriptions are only the beginning. Want to buy for someone with a list? Now you can confirm you got the right item and a special “accessory” to go with it!
  • Product Locator
    “I want this one, but don’t see it on the floor”...check the stock room, neighboring stores, and the Distribution Center.... without leaving the customer! Don’t let a customer who wants to purchase leave in frustration! Product Locator leverages Intelligent Alerts to pull product from the stock room and ties the enterprise systems together to find the product.

  • Inventory Management
    Items are always on the move...know exactly where they are in the enterprise by knowing when they come and go! Applications include truck receiving, carton receiving, item receiving, PO receiving, return to vendor, and transfers.

    Physical inventory is also a huge financial burden...know where you stand! Applications incolude adjustments, cycle counts, physical inventory, and ad hoc counting.
  • Item Management
    Every item in your store has a story and a task. Simply scan and inquire stock status, stock sample, stock compare, or a pick list.
  • Price Management
    Accurate pricing is key to customer satisfaction and profitability. Change it easily with a price inquiry, manager markdown, ticketing, or price change.
  • Stock Room Management
    Managing the small “warehouse” in the back of the store can make all the difference in managing stock status, re-ordering, and customer satisfaction. Manage the stockroom locations and product movement including picking, put away, stock comparison, audit, re-packing, discrepancy, and locate item.
